Krakin Automotive is moving its main operation to Molendinar. Both workshops are open and staffed during the changeover, so Nerang customers are not left without somewhere to go. Contact us before travelling and we will confirm which workshop suits your vehicle and the work involved.
What Nerang drivers bring us
Most work starts with everyday maintenance: logbook and general servicing, brakes, suspension, air conditioning and chasing down a warning light or an unfamiliar noise. We also take on heavier mechanical work, 4WD suspension and upgrades, wheels and tyres, and LS performance builds. If you are not sure which of those your car needs, describe what you have noticed and we will work it out with you.
Tell us about the car before you drive over
A short conversation first usually saves a wasted trip. Have the make, model and approximate kilometres handy, and mention anything you have noticed behind the wheel. If the car is overheating, braking poorly or showing a serious warning, describe that before driving it anywhere, because recovery may be the safer way to get it looked at.
Is the Nerang workshop still open?
Yes, it is open while we move our main operation to Molendinar. Contact us and we will confirm which workshop suits your booking.
Do you come to me in Nerang?
No. Krakin Automotive is a workshop rather than a mobile mechanic, so the vehicle needs to come to us. If it is not safe to drive, tell us when you get in touch and we can talk through the options.
Can I book a logbook service without losing my warranty?
Bring your logbook and any service records and tell us what is due. We can discuss the maintenance schedule for your vehicle and what the visit needs to cover.
How do I get a price?
Contact the workshop on (07) 5526 9580 or send an enquiry with your vehicle details and what you need. Some work can be quoted from the details; other concerns need an inspection first, because similar symptoms can have very different causes.
