How do I know if my clutch is slipping?
The engine revs climb but the car does not speed up to match, most noticeably in higher gears, under load or up hills. If you notice it, book an inspection before it gets worse.
How long does a clutch replacement take?
It depends on the vehicle, since some gearboxes are much more involved to remove than others. Ask for an indication when you book so you can plan around it.
Do I need a new flywheel too?
Sometimes. The flywheel is inspected when the clutch is out, and whether it needs machining or replacing depends on its condition and type. We will tell you what we find.
Can you fit a heavy-duty clutch?
